- Work with UI designer, team lead and Product Manager to build high quality front end / user interface
- Drive best practices and continuous improvement for front-end design
- Coach and mentor junior members of the team
- Provide front-end expertise and help design best solutions for new features
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices
- Build high quality back end systems, including database structures and API connections
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues
- 4+ years of experience as a front-end developer (ideally VueJS, but happy to consider other relevant modern frameworks), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design)
- 2+ years of experience as a full-stack developer with expertise in PHP/Laravel and VueJS
- Good eye for detail
- Understanding of good UI/UX practices
- Understanding of the principles and practices of Clean Code
- Some experience with RESTful API development and integration
- Some experience with MySQL or similar
- Fluent Git skills
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience of working with project management tools such as Shortcut, Jira, or Wrike
- Experience with other modern PHP frameworks
- Knowledge of one or more other programming languages
