    ESG IT Consultant – Digital Services

    ERM is seeking an ESG Digital Services (DS) Consultant in India to join our global Digital Services business.     POSITION SUMMARY:

    In this role, you will support business leaders & subject matter experts, in configuration, testing, documentation and sustainment of ESG management information systems. The successful candidate will have very good aptitude, logical thinking capabilities, effective communication skills and a passion for sustainability and technology, with an educational background in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Product Stewardship, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems. Ideally, you will have successfully completed university courses that provided exposure to Environmental software or environmental studies to further develop a deep understanding of global ESG business capabilities, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluate ESG software available in the market, including assisting clients with system requirements and system selection, and/or assessing clients' current systems and processes and their ability to support ESG information flows.
  • Provide advice on different ESG Management Information Systems in response to specific data, organizational and operational requirements.
  • Implement ESG Management Information Systems software for clients worldwide, assisting with system configuration, integration, training, rollout, support, maintenance, and improvements.
  • Support consultant teams that develop environmental compliance solutions with drafting system design documents, configuring technical specifications and components within the solution, analyzing/migrating data, and developing automated custom reporting and automated interfaces functionality.
  • Participate in system support and training documentation teams and prepare and present training to internal consultants and client system users.
  • Engage in all life cycle stages of project execution; provide support and enhancement to ESG Management Information Systems software solutions as required to meet overall business objectives of clients.
  • Map and analyze end-to-end business processes within third party and proprietary systems as well as integration with ESG Management Information Systems software, following formal IT guidelines.
  • Apply functional and technical skill to configure ESG Management Information Systems software; serve as subject matter expert to provide escalation point for production issues.
  • Facilitate management of change issues with the adoption of new information systems.
  • Serve as a power user of collaborative technology, and champion new and innovative business solutions within established and emerging technical architectures (i.e. Enablon, Intelex, Cority, SAP EHSM, Sphera, and other ESG Management Systems software.)
  • REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, or Management Information Systems.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in an ESG related field.
  • Diversified information technology experience and sound knowledge of ESG software, methodologies, domains and technology required. (Environmental Compliance, Industrial Hygiene and Safety, Occupational Health, Occupational Hygiene, Audit Management, Incident Management & Risk Assessment)
  • Knowledge and hands on experience with ESG Management Information Systems such as Enablon, Intelex, Cority, Sphera, OpsInfo, Impact, Enviance, ProcessMap, SAP EHSM or other ESG software systems.
  • Hands on Enablon implementation experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to travel if needed.
