Job Title: AWS Data Engineer

Location: Bangalore, Gurgaon

Position Type - Contract Initially

Experience Required - 5+ Yrs

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes on AWS.
2. Implement data solutions using AWS services such as S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, and EMR.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for data integration and processing.
4. Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and efficiency.
5. Develop and maintain documentation related to data pipelines, processes, and configurations.
6. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
7. Stay updated with AWS best practices and emerging technologies in data engineering.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with at least 3 years of experience working with AWS data services.
3. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
4. Hands-on experience with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, and EMR.
5. Experience with data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing concepts.
6. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
9. AWS certification is a plus.
