    Job Title: Data Governance Specialist

    Location: Bangalore

    Experience - 3 to 12 Years

    Job Description:

    We are in search of a skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team in Bangalore.

    The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Governance and demonstrate expertise in various aspects including data strategy, governance frameworks, change management, data quality management, and metadata management.

    Proficiency in tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Azure, and MS Purview is essential.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and implement robust data governance strategies and frameworks to ensure data integrity and security.Lead the establishment and enforcement of data governance policies, standards, and procedures.

    Drive change management processes to facilitate the adoption of data governance practices across the organization.Oversee data quality management initiatives, including the development of metrics and improvement processes.

    Manage metadata effectively, including data lineage, business glossary development, and dictionary maintenance.

    Evaluate and recommend suitable data governance tools to support organizational objectives.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data governance efforts with organizational goals.

    Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on best practices in data governance.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Governance.

    Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.

    Proficiency in data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Azure, and MS Purview.

    Familiarity with Master Data Management is advantageous.

    Exposure to BI/data warehousing concepts (ETL, Data Modeling, Data lakes) is a plus

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
