    Must Haves:


    • 7+ years of related industry experience Required Qualifications


    • Experience as a technical lead.


    • Demonstrated competence in development of the base ServiceNow platform as well as multiple modules.


    • CSA and CIS ITSM certifications – current or within 6 months of hire


    • Experience with Agile methods of software development and delivery.


    • Minimum of two additional CIS certifications – current or within one year of hire.


    • Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, SSL, SAML/SSO and other such technologies

    Summary:

    The ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant recommends, designs, implements, and optimizes CDW's ServiceNow infrastructure. The Technical Consultant applies expert knowledge and skills to deliver a stable, secure, and robust ServiceNow platform for CDW's operations. The role leads support efforts when ServiceNow issues arise and coordinates and drives successful implementations of platform enhancements. This individual will also mentor and provide guidance to the ServiceNow Support staff. As a member of our ServiceNow Support team under Technology, the ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant will provide subject matter and technical expertise to support CDW's ServiceNow instances, and mentor junior and senior team members on processes and customizations within the CDW ServiceNow platform. This is a highly responsive and hands-on role capable of leading technical and complex enhancements to meet internal stakeholder demands while maintaining the stability of the platform.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the deployment and management of assigned applications.
    • Provide technical leadership to team, assist team members with technical issue resolution, serve as authority for solution provision under the Solution Architect, take on the most complex tasks that cross multiple modules, have a full understanding of how the components of ServiceNow work together to provide end-to[1]end workflow solutions
    • Collaborates with ServiceNow teams to ensure the design, configuration and performance meets the needs of the ServiceNow service
    • Designs, develops, and tests ServiceNow tactical enhancements to existing modules
    • Act as a technical point of reference for and mentor to junior engineers
    • What modules will they be supporting? At minimum ITSM, any other modules are a plus. Ideally either CMDB, HRSD, or IRM/GRC would be helpful.
    • Recommends instance upgrades and develops implementation plans.
    • Leads activities related to application presentation as they relate to ServiceNow environments.
    • Research, recommend, and if required, create ServiceNow applications and solutions to automate processes and procedures.
    • Monitor ServiceNow platform for failures and performance problems.
