    Description

    You will be part of the Flexible Load Management (FLM) team, a powerhouse of analytical capabilities. Our team supports utilities and government agencies modernize their grid as well as design, boost and implement their electrification and FLM programs to meet the demands of the future.

    ICF has over 50 years of experience advising utilities on a variety of areas, including integrated resource planning, flexible load management, utility customer programs, electrification, environmental strategies, and a host of other issues. Our ability to connect the implementation experience and deep domain expertise with advanced analytics allows us to help utilities forecast, plan, design and implement best-in-class FLM and electrification programs.

    This position is available to current Bachelors or Masters level students, nearing graduation, and recent graduates seeking internships for a 3-month period in New Delhi. Our interns are provided with training to develop consulting skills as well as skillsets in the specific domain area, in an environment that fosters growth.

  • Attend role-based training on our GIS analysis environment.
  • Analyze aerial imagery to determine the presence of commercial fleet vehicles in the US.
  • Categorize vehicles based on pre-defined standards.
  • Document issues and potential solution options for management review.
  • Participate in regular project team meetings. ​
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Architectural, Building Science, Energy Management, Energy Policy and Planning, or related subjects
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • A passion for the energy industry, with specific interest in electric vehicles
  • Experience with aerial imagery data handling.
  • Experience with GIS analysis environment.
  • Demonstrates trustworthiness and upholds the highest ethical standards.
  • Ensures that information flows effectively to others.
  • Identifies, collects, and analyzes the information needed to solve a problem effectively.
  • Clearly expresses ideas, thoughts, and concepts in writing.
