    Role Summary

    ConveGenius Insights (CGI) is seeking an ambitious professional with a result-oriented approach to join as a Senior Assessment Expert. We are looking for a candidate who is exceptional in handling projects and can manage work with minimal supervision. We are open to suitable candidates who can work from CGI's Hyderabad office, in India.

    The Assessment team is involved in creating discerning questions and insightful assessment tools that test the level of understanding of the content and competence in the subject skills of children. For this role, we are looking for a passionate individual who would love to go deeper into how children learn subjects and lead the team in building high-quality learning modules and assessment tools that can uncover gaps in students' learning.

    Tasks & Responsibilities

    The role mainly involves handling a team that works on the creation and review of engaging content for learning and assessment products, which includes the following:

    Leading projects within the assessment products & services team

    Providing guidance, resources, and assistance to a team of assessment creators

    Understanding research on pedagogy and teaching and helping the team translate that to the creation of sound assessment tools

    Setting up optimal processes for the creation and maintenance of existing and new assessments, including translations

    Ability to review and revise existing content based on quality, technical correctness and student performance data, if needed, or guide the team for the same

    Regularly check the quality of the question bank and set up maintenance processes to keep it updated

    Reading and sharing summaries of research papers, and articles related to education in national and international publications

    Analysing large-scale student response data to figure out how children think and learn

    Interacting with teachers and students for insights about students' learning

    Education & Experience

    Background in designing large-scale assessments in Maths, Science, or Language.

    Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Science or Language, Assessments, Teaching, Psychometry, Engineering or similar fields.

    Preferred: Masters degree in Assessments, Teaching, Psychometry or similar fields.

    Experience: 4-6 years of total experience, with at least 1-2 years in a team lead role

    Preferred: People who are comfortable with 2 or more Indian languages

    Competencies

    Excellent written and oral communication skills

    Excellent proofreading skills

    Ability to critically analyse assessment and learning content

    Should enjoy leading a team and working across teams (design, data analytics, operations, etc.)

    Should like to engage in healthy debates and arguments that are critical for strong content and product development

    Ability to critically analyse content to deliver a high-quality learning experience for the child

    Sticking to tight schedules and effective workload management
