TWX Developer:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent area
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Thingworx platform
• Experience with developments in Thingworx Foundation & Thingworx Utilities (Must Have)
• Knowledge in developing JavaScript & Java, and Web Development Stack (Must Have)
• Strong understanding of Thing Worx Foundation including Installation, Upgrade, API's, Application development.
• Proficient in ThingWorx Thing Model and Visual Representation.
• Proficient in Authentication Model like Security, SSO, Integration etc.
• Strong Development and Packing skills, alongwith code deployment from lower DEV,QA environments to PROD releases, DevOps experience is a plus
• Proficient in Mashup Building, Data Shapes, Databinding Services, REST API, Java, JavaScript, JSON libraries.
• ThingWorx Extension development is Preferred.
• Experience with User and User Groups Assignment and creation on a large scale
• Experience with Entity permissions
• Experience with Thing Worx load testing
• Proficient with PostgreSQL Database and Integration with Thing Worx
• Understanding of REST Services, API Catalog for Service Endpoints
• Profiency and understanding of ThingWorx E-Message Connector and Traffic load balancing
• Functional understanding of JSON, REST APIs
• Excellent communication skills to include internal and external communication & documentation.
• Experience in developing REST/Web services (Must have)
• Knowledge on Historians, MQTT, OSI PI and relater IoT protocols (Good to have)
• DBMS Skills: RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and others) and NoSQL
• Certification in Cloud Technologies is a big plus
• Good experience with troubleshooting and triaging of issues/tickets

Responsibilities:

• Write structured and well-documented code.
• Design intuitive, easy-to-navigate, aesthetically pleasing user interfaces.
• Breakdown the technical components of the project and deliver as per requirements
• Collaborate effectively with internal employees and contractors
• Provide subject matter expertise
• Complete duties as assigned
• Follow set governance processes to meet and achieve the required output
• Constantly upgrading by learning technologies beyond traditional area of expertise
• Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
• Work with SQL database for PTC Thing Worx
• Creating required documentation (specifications, test cases, release notes, procedures, guidelines, etc.)
• Perform unit/smoke/functional testing, prepare test cases, and demonstrate solutions to stakeholders
• Working with ticket management tools & processes as L2/L3 support
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Architects to understand, evaluate, and convert functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Monitor, measure, and tune application performance along with performing root cause analysis and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Versatility, flexibility, and proactivity when resolving technical issues and dealing with ambiguity
