    Description
    Dear Candidate, We are looking for an Apparel designer with experience in the retail industry, who can grasp market trends, create clothing in line with the brand ethos, and has a solid understanding of design concepts, pattern making, garment construction, and graphic/print development. The ideal candidate should have prior experience with mainstream womenswear retail brands such as Fabindia, Biba, Westside, Pantaloons, etc. Job Responsibilities:
    • Select fabrics, embellishments, colors, or a style for each garment
    • Collaborate with team members to create prototype designs and work closely with merchandising, production, and marketing teams
    • Present design ideas to creative directors and at fashion/trade shows
    • Market designs to retailers and consumers
    • Generate creative concepts for new apparel collections aligning with brand identity
    • Create sketches, technical drawings, and digital renderings using design software
    • Research and procure fabrics, trims, and accessories for designs
    • Stay updated on fashion trends and consumer preferences
    • Prepare and deliver presentations of design concepts, mood boards, and sample collections
    Essential Skills Required:
    • Expertise in garment construction, pattern making, and sewing techniques
    • Strong knowledge of textiles, fabrics, and material sourcing
    • Creative thinking and trend forecasting
    • Proficiency in graphic design
    • Effective communication skills
