- Lead, mentor and train the Banquets team.
- Ensure Food & Beverage relevant brand standards are maintained.
- Strategize on new products and service offerings.
- Create unforgettable experiences for our guests.
- Prepare daily assignment sheets for all banquet colleagues and conduct pre-function meetings.
- Confers with the host of the function on any last-minute arrangements, coordinate with kitchen in providing for extra or decreased number of covers when necessary, and accommodates guest needs efficiently to ensure satisfaction. Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a busy banquet/event operation Hotel
- Diploma in Food & Beverage or related field
- Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required
- Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
- Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
- Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
- Strong problem solving abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
