1. Patient Management:
· Schedule and manage appointments for patients, ensuring efficient use of doctors time.
· Greet and check-in patients, verifying their personal and medical information.
· Maintain electronic and paper medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
· Prepare patient charts, including relevant medical history and test results.
· Assist patients in completing necessary forms and obtaining insurance information.
2. Communication and Coordination:
· Act as a liaison between doctors, patients, and other medical staff.
· Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
· Coordinate referrals to other specialists or departments within the hospital.
· Communicate test results and treatment plans to patients as instructed by the doctor.
· Provide information to patients regarding pre-operative and post-operative care.
3. Administrative Support:
· Manage the doctors schedule, including arranging meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements.
· Prepare and maintain documents such as correspondence, reports, and medical forms.
· Order and maintain office supplies and equipment necessary for smooth operations.
· Assist in billing and insurance-related tasks, including coding and processing claims.
· Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in handling patient information.
4. Clinical Support:
· Prepare examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and availability of necessary equipment.
· Assist doctors during procedures, providing necessary instruments and supplies.
· Perform basic tests and measurements such as visual acuity, tonometry, and eye pressure checks.
· Educate patients on proper usage of contact lenses, eye drops, and other prescribed treatments.
· Maintain an inventory of ophthalmic medications and supplies.

· ANM / Any Degree
Experience
· 1 to 3 Years
Skills

· Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and general office software.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining medical records and handling administrative tasks.
· Knowledge of medical terminology, eye anatomy, and common eye diseases and treatments.
· Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
· Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and the ability to work effectively in a team.
