Shopify Developer - Pune District - thinkbridge

Description

We are looking for a Shopify Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to build, customize, and integrate Shopify storefronts with enterprise systems. The role involves working on embedded Shopify storefronts, developing custom Shopify solutions, and handling bi-directional integrations with Infor ERP for orders, products, inventory, and customers.

You will work closely with backend, integration, and product teams to deliver scalable and high-performance eCommerce solutions

The role will be on a 6-month contract and may be renewed based on project extension.

Experience Level: Associate-Level – Shopify Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to build and customize Shopify storefronts and integrate with Infor ERP, delivering scalable eCommerce solutions.

Shopify Development

• Develop and customize Shopify storefronts, including embedded storefronts integrated into existing websites.
• Work with Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks where required.
• Build and customize Shopify themes, sections, and reusable components.
• Implement Storefront API and Admin API integrations.
• Optimize storefront performance, responsiveness, and SEO.

Integration & Backend

• Design and implement bi-directional integrations between Shopify and Infor ERP.
• Sync products, pricing, inventory, orders, customers, and fulfillment data between systems.
• Handle webhooks, background jobs, retries, and error handling for integrations.
• Work with REST / GraphQL APIs for third-party system communication.
• Collaborate with backend teams for middleware or microservices if applicable.

Quality & Best Practices

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Debug production issues and provide timely fixes.
• Follow security best practices for API keys, tokens, and sensitive data.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Requirements:

Must have skills:

• 2–3 years of experience in Shopify development.
• Strong knowledge of: Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Shopify Storefront API & Admin API
• Experience building embedded Shopify storefronts.
• Experience with Infor Cloud Suite / Infor M3 / Infor LN integrations.
• Experience integrating Shopify with ERP systems (Infor preferred).
• Understanding of order lifecycle, inventory sync, pricing, and fulfillment flows.
• Familiarity with webhooks, background jobs, and async processing.

Good to have skills:

• Knowledge of / .NET / Java based integration services.
• Experience with middleware platforms (Boomi, Mulesoft, custom services).
• Exposure to headless commerce concepts.
• Understanding of CI/CD, Git, and deployment workflows.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, integration-heavy environment.
