    About the roleLead Engineer

    Thecore expectation from you would be to leaddesign and implementation of softwarefeatures / functionality enhancements / quality issues under ourproducts as laid out as per our product delivery roadmap. Your teams output should conform to high standards of Quality PerformanceReliability Technical Integrity and Scalability set for oursoftwareproducts.At thesame time you would also own the responsibility to deliver workontime by adhering to our company s agile process for softwaredevelopment anddelivery.As a leadengineer you would be taking directions for work / deliverablesfrom a Product leader and Software Architect and be expected todeliver the output with a small team of 4 or 5 engineers (includingAssociatelevel Software Engineers Software Engineers and SeniorSoftware Engineers). More than 70% of your time will be spent insoftware design and code reviews within handson coding accountingfor a small portion of yourtime.

    Responsibilities(notexhaustive)

    • Understandingthe enduser outcomes behind the software requirements given to youforimplementation
    • Workclosely with Product Leaders to stay aligned with productvision
    • Thinkingcritically about design and architecture of implementationdocumenting the approach for complex implementations and gettingthese reviewed from Software Architects prior todevelopment.
    • Developingand implementing responsive user interfacesusing ReactJS and using advancedconcepts such as Hooks and React Components lifecycle(classbased components state managementetc)
    • Ability toachieve pixelperfect output based on the visual designs andgrooming other engineers to achieve this level ofperfection
    • Implementingthe necessary user interactions on top of visual designs providedto guarantee enduser outcomes meeting the acceptancecriteria
    • Designingand developing REST APIs using C#.NETand implementing advanced business logicinvolving database operations file IO over Cloudetc
    • Ability to writecode that is readable performant and bugfree and advocate thispractice toothers.
    • Being able tounderstand others code to be able to debug / troubleshoot it forfixing issues (or) optimize / enhance itfurther
    • Possessing theability to gauge the impact radius of your work on existingfunctionality and associated features on theproduct
    • Workingclosely with the Scrum master towards sprintonsprint delivery andcollaborating effectively with other stakeholders on the team viz.testers UI/UX designers and productmanagers
    • Carrying outcode reviews of all work submitted by your team without fail andparticipating in peer reviews of work submitted by otherdevelopers
    • Lead andmentor ASEs / SEs / SSEs through their work to ensure highqualitydeliverables fromthem
    The IdealCandidate

    Experience

    • 6years of work experience as a Software Developer using .NETtechnologies
    • Minimum3 year of experience as a Fullstack developer using any Javascriptframework preferablyReactJS
    • Projectexperience involving SQL databases Microservices C# Web API s MSAzureservices

    Skillset

    • Handsonexperience with UIside state management frameworks such as Redux /Flux
    • Goodknowledge in JavaScript HTML and CSS ( CSS selectors Media Queryand FlexBox Responsive UI)
    • Proven abilityto code in an Objectoriented programming language likeC#
