    Description

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Lead record to report of Accounts Payables and Inventory by setting up initial processes and transforming them with change in volumes and introduction of new systems/ ERPs.
    • Work with technology teams and product engineers to drive automation and adoption of new systems/ technologies at large scale across multiple categories (FnV/ FMCG/ Cafe etc.)
    • Actively work on Developing Internal Control Framework by drafting SOPs and accounting guidelines for various sub functions (accounting of inventory, defining provisioning policies for aged inventory/ nonmoving inventory/ vendor advances in alignment with business teams, vendor reconciliations, payments etc.)
    • Being an enabler by working with the business teams on various strategic projects/ pilots and assessing the financial implication and setting up right accounting processes.
    • Liaise with auditors to ensure timely and smooth closure of financials, statutory and internal audit including due diligence
    • Active involvement in working with Business Finance & FPnA Teams on aligning the costs and margins for Month end closures (MEC), and compliance ensuring zero surprises.
    • Analytical skills for various analysis on financial data/ statements including trend and variance analysis, ratio analysis, actual vs budget analysis to identify gaps and chart out remediation plans.
    • Coordination with other departments Marketing/ Supply chain/ Warehousing/ Rider payouts/ and analyse the monthly cost to ensure the correct recording of expenses including payments and reconciliation. Ensure completeness of costs including tracking of monthly provisions.
    • Work closely with the Treasury function to Monitor & Track the company's fund position on a regular basis, for cash flow statements and analysing actual against budgets.
    • Be accountable for the accuracy of all accounts related to Fixed Assets/ PP&E.
    • Develop and implement process improvements to account for fixed asset addition and disposals.

    Skill Set Required:

    • Ability to manage a high performance diverse team of 810 people.
    • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills able to manage conflict and resistance.
    • Strong accounting skills, Risk assessment and analysis skills.
    • Excellent presentation skills, Independent decisionmaking ability and adapt to changing requirements
    • Working experience in SAP will be an added advantage.
    • Working experience in the Retail/ FMCG/ Startup industry will be preferable.
    • Working experience with Big4 firms will be an advantage.
