Role Overview:

Join us as a Data Migration Specialist in the insurance sector in the UK, where you'll be a key player in transferring data smoothly from Azure SQL to Salesforce. Your role requires strong technical skills in Azure SQL and excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with stakeholders like Business Analysts (BAs) from London, project managers, and the insurance company's integration partner. You'll be in charge of overseeing the entire data migration process, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining seamless communication among all involved parties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Migration Planning and Execution: Take the lead in planning and executing data migration tasks from Azure SQL to Salesforce.
• Technical Expertise: Showcase your proficiency in Azure SQL to carry out data extraction, transformation, and loading into Salesforce.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for BAs, project managers, and integration partners, guaranteeing clear and efficient communication throughout the migration.
• Data Integrity and Quality Assurance: Implement strategies to preserve data integrity during migration and perform thorough quality checks to verify the accuracy of transferred data.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve any technical issues during migration promptly, collaborating with stakeholders to find effective solutions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of migration processes, including plans, technical specs, and issue logs. Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and project teams.

• Proficiency in Azure SQL: Extensive experience with Azure SQL databases, including data handling processes.
• Salesforce Migration Experience: Previous experience in migrating data to Salesforce platform is a plus.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, adhere to timelines, and meet deadlines.
