    Senior Manager, Finance (based in India)

    What you'll do:

    As a Finance Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining general ledger and book keeping; preparing month-end close procedures including TB preparation & reporting pack for investors, and account balances and bank statements, account payables as well as receivables for Namshi.

    Identifying, recording of Accounts Payables (AP)/Accounts Receivables(AR)/Revenue transactions on monthly and quarterly basis in accordance with relevant GAAPPrepare and Reconcile general ledger ensuring accounting of collections, invoices and credit notes and other transactions are recorded correctly with accuracy in accordance with accounting policies of the companyMonitor daily AP/AR transactions as related to general ledger to ensure validity and accuracy, specially accrualsUse strong knowledge of account payables + receivables and revenue for retail business segment, especially in Namshi's

    e-commerce business.
    Prepare monthly account analysis for AP/AR balance sheet and P&L accounts, variance analysis and schedules for book closing.

    Assist in quarterly review and annual audit with external and internal auditorsMaintain documentation for each activity performed to comply with requirement of audit and company process.

    Identify gaps in process, assist in development and implementation of processes and procedures to bridge the gapsLiaising with other departments, internally or externally in order to ensure correct accounting.


    What you'll need to be successful:
    [Must have]:

    Willing to commute daily (Mon-Fri) to the office in Gurugram
    [Must have]:

    Graduate/MBA in Finance with 3yrs+ previous work experience or Chartered Accountant Inter drop out 1+ Year
    [Must have]:


    Strong knowledge of Bookkeeping and Accounting principlesEffective Communication and presentation skillsAttention to Detail and clear in approachWorked with cross functional teamsA Team player, energetic and a go-getterKnowledge of ERP Tool, Experience of Microsoft Dynamics will be preferred.

    System knowledge, Data Entry skills and Proficiency in MS Office – Excel and proficient Mathematical skills.
