Roles &Responsibilities:

18 years of Development andOperations experience in building and running applications inproduction that has uptime over 99%. Related experience and/ortraining; or equivalent combination of education andexperience

8 years of experience as a SREArchitect in running large Reliability & Observability Programsfor large complex infrastructure deployments / distributed systemsfor major Banking customers.

Has a keen eye forindustry trends tries out newer tools/infrastructure to improvecurrent systems in terms of execution and/or operability

Strong handson coding experience in one or more ofprogramming languages such as Java etc.

Goodunderstanding of Observability (monitoring logging tracing metrics)Chaos engineering concepts.

Proficiency inusing Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tool NewRelic/Dynatrace for monitoring logging tracing and Splunk for Logmonitoring.

Expert level hands on knowledge incloud platforms like PCF.

should haveimplemented solutions around Service Level Indicators (SLIs) andService Level Objectives (SLOs) for services.

Should have supported Production Incidents (PIs) on missioncritical applications of a company. Troubleshoot debug and diagnoseoperational issues and drive them to closure.

Understanding of software delivery life cycles particularlyAgile/Lean & DevOps

Proven experience inhandling large scale and growing infrastructure across Data Centersand heterogeneous Cloud platforms

Experience asa service owner in managing large geographically diversestakeholders

Ability to work with creative fastgrowing engineering team and motivate them to deliver their bestwork
