    Job Overview


    TE Connectivity's Procurement Business Process Teams develop and deploy procurement processes, systems, reporting and audits compliance. They drive continuous improvement throughout the procurement function, develop and maintain procurement systems, tools and databases such as vendor master files, e-procurement quotation tool, procurement web page, supplier portal, SharePoint and the like. They conduct regular external benchmarking to stay abreast of procurement best practices, run procurement reports and perform analysis to identify trends, opportunities, threats and needed course correction as well as lead facilitation of procurement training and development.

    Roles And Responsibilities

    • The Supervisor is responsible for Analytics team in India. The primary objective is to provide Business Analytical support to procurement organization by taking Analytics processes to next level. Collaborate with business partners to gather and comprehend functional requirements, develop intricate queries, and generate reports.
    • Demonstrate adeptness in understanding customer requirements with minimal supervision, conducting thorough requirement analysis both functionally and technically.
    • Foster partnerships across multiple functions globally, including New Product Implementation (NPI) Procurement, and Finance.
    • Establish control structures within a simplified environment to ensure data accuracy and quality through all upstream and downstream data channels.
    • Engage in projects involving upstream or downstream data flows and processes.
    • Implement and monitor controls over applications to ensure data integrity, conducting data integrity gap analysis.
    • Proactively anticipate stakeholder needs, devising and discussing potential solutions in advance.
    • Provide technical and functional expertise within areas of specialization.
    • Coordinate the resolution of data integrity gaps by collaborating with business owners and IT.
    • Possess a robust understanding of databases and data structures.
    • Utilize strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
    • Facilitate intermediate-level discussions, driving issues to resolution effectively.
    • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to manage tasks independently.
    • Conduct data profiling and capture data quality metrics.
    • Author various documents such as functional and technical requirements.
    • Formulate hypotheses for testing and design experiments to capture new data.
    • Apply appropriate decision technology tools, algorithms, and methodologies.
    • Utilize analytical tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, SAP BoBJ, and structured query language (SQL) to set up models and conduct analyses.
    • Apply a rigorous understanding of statistics fundamentals to address business challenges effectively.

    Competencies And Experience Required/Desired

    • B.Tech & MBA is preferred.
    • 6 + years of experience in data analysis, business development
    • 2 + years Leadership expereince.
    • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI.
    • Strong SQL query skills for data extraction and manipulation.
    • Experience with Python and machine learning techniques.
    • Knowledge of AWS or Azure database management.
    • Proven track record of LEADERSHIP and team management.
    • Ability to effectively communicate and present complex data insights.
    • Background in statistics and quantitative analysis.
