Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership:

• Lead a team of skilled engineers in developing robust and scalable solutions
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to the engineering team.
• Define and enforce coding standards, and best practices, and ensure the team adheres to software architecture and design principles.

Software Architecture and Design:

• Drive the architecture and design of software solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Code Review and Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to established standards.
• Implement and oversee effective quality assurance processes within the development lifecycle.

Team Collaboration:

• Foster a collaborative and innovative engineering culture within the team.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Client Interaction:

• Act as a technical liaison between the engineering team and clients.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Gather and understand client requirements to ensure successful project delivery.

Training and Development:

• Identify and address skill gaps within the team, providing training and development opportunities.
• Encourage continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
• Community Engagement:
• Actively participate in relevant technical communities and forums.
• Share knowledge and insights through blog posts, presentations, or other community-oriented activities.

Requirement:

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager
• In-depth knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean coding practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Hands-on experience in developing and delivering complex software solutions using the MERN stack
• Client-facing experience with the ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to clients.
• Experience in conducting code reviews, ensuring code quality, and implementing best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and train a team of engineers.
• Active participation in technical communities and a passion for continuous learning.
