Job Description:

Our international school in Kholapur is seeking a qualified and experienced IBDP (international baccalaureate diploma program) Physics Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) Physics, a passion for education, and a commitment to fostering a dynamic learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Teach IBDP Physics courses to high school students, following the curriculum guidelines and standards.
• Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to a diverse group of learners, ensuring student understanding and engagement.
• Foster critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and problem-solving skills among students.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on student progress, and maintain accurate records of student achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities that enhance the learning experience.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in IB education and physics instruction.
• Contribute to the school community through involvement in extracurricular activities, events, and committees.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success and well-being.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Teaching certification and/or experience teaching IBDP Physics.
• Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate curriculum and assessment standards.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
