    Description

    About the Role :
    We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Spring Boot Security Architect to join our team. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions for our Spring Boot applications.


    You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of Spring Security to lead a team of developers in building secure and performant APIs while fostering a collaborative and efficient development environment.


    Responsibilities :

    • Lead and mentor a team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of secure Spring Boot applications
    • Conduct security threat modeling and implement appropriate security controls
    • Analyze and define security requirements based on project needs
    • Provide technical solutions and drive the team to achieve optimal security within the given timeframe
    • Champion best practices in secure coding, authentication, authorization, and API security
    • Collaborate with other engineers to ensure seamless integration of security features
    • Debug security issues, analyze logs, and perform API tracing to identify and resolve problems
    • Review and improve code quality through static code analysis
    • Actively participate in pre and postproduction launches, including monitoring and troubleshooting
    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of team documentation aligned with current Ford processes
    • Continuously improve application performance through optimization techniques (e.g., caching, cloud storage)
    • Refine and evolve existing codebase to enhance overall security and API functionality
    • Define and implement API security strategies
    • Stay uptodate on the latest Spring Security features and security best practices

    Requirements :
    years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Spring Boot Security

    • Proven track record of building secure and scalable Spring Boot applications
    • Indepth knowledge of security principles and best practices (e.g. OWASP Top 10)
    • Experience with security frameworks like Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT
    • Strong understanding of API security concepts and implementation strategies
    • Excellent debugging, log analysis, and tracing skills
    • Proficiency in static code analysis tools
    • Experience with preproduction and postproduction launch processes
    • Experience with application performance optimization techniques (caching, cloud storage)
    • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and welldocumented code
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and team management skills
    • Ability to thrive in a crosscultural environment
    • Eagerness to learn and stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies
