Cloud Sec and Crypto Security Engineering are relatively new DevOps teams at TransUnion that are focused on building first-of-its-kind security products and services for the enterprise.

As a member of this innovative agile team, you will collaborate with others to maintain and optimize capabilities required to secure data and applications operating in dynamic computing environments.

Engineers on this team will work with many popular vendor and open source technologies, internally developed applications and cloud native services.

You will be challenged to provide technical and thought leadership and to succeed in this role, you need to be eager to learn, able to work through ambiguity, problem solve and communicate effectively.

What You'll Bring:
About You:3+ years of software development and/or full-stack engineering experienceAmple experience operating with cloud platforms, APIs and event-driven automationHands-on experience with deploying and operating resources in AWS, GCP or AzureProficient with popular scripting and programming language frameworks such as python, golang,java, and ScalaAdvocate of CI/CD best practices and robust experience working with technologies such as git, jenkins, terraform, and ansibleAbility to translate policies into event-driven as-code solutionsGood understanding of micro-service principles and immutable architectureBasic understanding and application of secrets management, data encryption and PKIBasic understanding and abilities with HashiCorp VaultBasic understanding and application of AWS IAM policiesBasic understanding and application of AWS resource-based policiesPassionate about innovation and enjoys the challenges of creating something newDisplays strong technical and thought leadership skills and can collaborate with others to successful deliver large, complex initiativesContinuously looks for opportunities to simplify and optimize technology and processesServes as a coach and mentor for junior team membersSelf-starter that demonstrates a solid understanding of the impact of own workStrong written and verbal communication skillsImpact You'll Make:Examples of the impact you will make:Expand DevSecOps engineering practices and capabilities for our Cloud Security and Crypto Security products in IndiaContribute to the technical direction of the Cloud/Crypto Security team in the role of Lead EngineerEnhance or develop capabilities that will securely scale our enterprise secrets management solution and other flagship crypto and cloud IAM services globallyTransUnion Job TitleLead Engineer, InfoSec Engineering
