    Skill Sets Required:

    Skills and Experience Needed:

  • Proven experience leading the resource management function in a software product or services organization for a minimum of 3 years, with an overall experience of 12+ years in resource management.
  • 2.Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently, with a demonstrated track record of achieving performance targets and KPIs.

    3.Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and forecasting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and management reporting techniques.

    4.Demonstrated conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive and flexible approach to decision-making.

    5.Excellent interpersonal skills, including effective written and verbal communication, negotiation, collaboration, and diplomacy.

    6.Experience or familiarity with change management principles and practices, particularly in leading teams through organizational changes or process improvements related to resource management.

    7.Experience in leadership and team management and leading cross-functional initiatives.

    8.Preferred educational qualifications or certifications in business management, human resources, project management, or resource management

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    Job responsibilities

  • Develop and implement resource management strategies and processes to optimize resource allocation, utilization, and availability, with a focus on achieving specific performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain comprehensive data on all employees, including their skills and role expertise/suitability, leveraging appropriate technology platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with product lines, function heads, and stakeholders to understand resource requirements and timelines, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conduct capacity planning at both organizational and business unit levels, identifying potential bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
  • Proactively reassign resources based on business unit/function needs, reviewing all new position requests to assess internal fulfilment possibilities.
  • Effectively manage the bench by facilitating reskilling initiatives and timely assignment to new available positions, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
  • Implement and maintain resource management tools, systems, and processes to enhance visibility, transparency, and efficiency, leveraging relevant technology platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve resource assignment conflicts, negotiate resource sharing agreements, and balance competing priorities .
  • Drive resource utilization above organizational targets, both in terms of billing and time utilization, through continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Track and report billing utilization, workload, and utilization metrics, analyzing data across individuals, projects, and business units to inform decision-making.
  • Identify and coordinate with the training function to address resource reskilling needs, ensuring alignment with evolving business requirements.
