Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Engineer responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant instrumentation and automation systems.

The candidate should have strong expertise in PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation platforms such as L&T, Rockwell, and Siemens.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstrumentation & Automation
Installation, calibration, and maintenance of field instruments (pressure, flow, level, temperature, control valves, transmitters).
Troubleshooting and optimization of instrumentation systems to ensure uninterrupted plant operation.
Hands-on experience with PLC and SCADA systems for monitoring and control of process parameters.
Execution of loop checking, commissioning, and functional testing.
PLC / SCADA Programming
Programming, debugging, and modification of PLC logic.
SCADA screen development, alarms configuration, and data logging.
Integration of field devices with PLC/SCADA networks.
Automation Platforms

Hands-on knowledge of:
L&T Automation Systems
Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley PLC)
Siemens (S7, TIA Portal, WinCC)
Understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Preventive and breakdown maintenance of control panels and automation systems.
Root cause analysis for instrumentation failures.
Ensuring minimal downtime through predictive maintenance practices.
Documentation & Compliance
Preparation of P&ID markups, loop diagrams, and instrument datasheets.
Maintaining calibration records and compliance with safety standards.
Supporting audits and regulatory inspections.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation.
Expertise in Siemens, Rockwell, and L&T systems.
Good understanding of process control philosophy.
Ability to read electrical and instrumentation drawings.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical Engineering.
Experience in Pharma, Chemical, FMCG, or Process Industry.
Exposure to DCS systems will be an added advantage.
