Overview:

SystemAdminThe System Admin plays acritical role in ensuring the efficient operation of theorganizations IT infrastructure. They are responsible forimplementing maintaining and supporting the companys systems andnetworks to ensure optimal performance andsecurity.
Location:Mumbai Exp: 3 to 7yrs

KeyResponsibilities:

• Install configureand maintain operating systems server hardware and virtualizationenvironments
• Monitor system performance andensure reliability and accessibility
• Managenetwork infrastructure including routers switches firewalls andVPN
• Implement and enforce security measures toprotect data software and hardware
• Performregular backup operations and ensure data recoverycapabilities
• Troubleshoot hardware and softwareissues and escalate to vendors whennecessary
• Manage user accounts permissionsemail and antivirus programs
• Collaborate withIT teams to resolve technical issues and implementsolutions
• Provide technical support andguidance to users and stakeholders
• Develop andmaintain documentation related to system configuration andprocesses
• Conduct regular system audits forcompliance and optimization
• Evaluate andrecommend new technologies to improve systemperformance
• Participate in oncall rotation toprovide afterhours support as needed
• Ensureadherence to company policies and procedures related to systemadministration

RequiredQualifications:

• Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or relatedfield
• Proven experience as a SystemAdministrator or similar role
• Strong knowledgeof system security including firewalls encryption and intrusiondetection systems
• Proficiency in networkingconcepts and protocols (e.g. TCP/IP DNSDHCP)
• Experience with virtualizationtechnologies (e.g. VMware HyperV)
• Knowledge ofbackup and recovery processes for dataprotection
• Excellent troubleshooting andproblemsolving skills
• Experience with serveradministration and management tools
• Ability towork independently and prioritize taskseffectively
• Certifications such as MicrosoftCertified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or CompTIA Server are aplus
• Strong communication and interpersonalskills
• Attention to detail and strongorganizational skills
• Ability to adapt to afastpaced and dynamic workenvironment
• Knowledge of cloud computingplatforms and technologies (e.g. AWS Azure) is aplus
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g.PowerShell Bash) ispreferred
