Job summary
To support and execute mechanical engineering activities related to pharmaceutical projects including installation commissioning qualification and engineering support ensuring compliance with GMP safety and quality standards.Carry out preventive predictive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment in assigned production blocks Maintain and monitor critical equipment such as reactors blenders machines centrifuges packaging equipment Ensure minimum downtime quick restoration of equipment during breakdowns Support maintenance of utilities such as HVAC chillers compressors boilers pumps vacuum systems as applicable Ensure proper functioning of mechanical systems like gearboxes conveyors agitators valves Ensure maintenance activities comply with GMP safety and quality standards Prepare review maintain SOPs checklists logs records Support audits internal external regulatory by providing required documentation explanations Identify critical spares maintain inventory levels Coordinate vendors service providers AMC repairs shutdown maintenance activities Raise work orders service requests follow timely closure Participate in equipment qualification installation commissioning validation Suggest implement continuous improvement initiatives improve efficiency reliability Strong knowledge pharmaceutical equipment utilities Familiarity GMP documentation practices safety standards Ability handle independently manage multiple tasks Good coordination communication skills Preventive & breakdown maintenance Pharma GMP compliance Equipment troubleshooting Documentation audit support Team coordination
