    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Intranet Lead to join our Corporate Communications team. The Junior Intranet Lead will be responsible for managing and optimizing our intranet platform, HGS Connect, to facilitate effective internal communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across the organization. In addition to intranet management, the role will involve liaising with enterprise IT to enable and manage new and existing functionalities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and IT infrastructure.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and maintain the organization's intranet platform, HGS Connect, ensuring its functionality, usability, and relevance to meet the needs of employees
    • Create and update intranet pages, content, and resources in alignment with organizational goals, branding guidelines, and best practices
    • Work closely with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, solicit feedback, and implement enhancements to the intranet platform
    • Liaise with enterprise IT to enable and manage new and existing functionalities on HGS Connect, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and IT infrastructure
    • Develop and implement strategies to promote adoption and engagement with HGS Connect, including training sessions, user guides, and communications campaigns
    • Monitor intranet usage metrics and analyze user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
    • Serve as a point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the intranet platform, collaborating with IT support as needed
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in intranet management, incorporating innovative approaches to enhance the functionality and user experience of HGS Connect.
    • Support other internal communication initiatives and projects as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
    • 1-2 years of experience in intranet management, digital communications, or related roles
    • Proficiency in using intranet management tools and platforms (e.g., SharePoint, WordPress, Drupal)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
    • Experience with HTML/CSS, graphic design, or multimedia content creation is a plus
    • Basic understanding of user experience (UX) principles and web design fundamentals are a plus
    • Familiarity with corporate communications practices and internal branding guidelines preferred
