Job Description: SourceBae is seeking an experienced AS400 SYNON Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AS400 and SYNON, with expertise in programming and change management tools such as Implementer. As an AS400 SYNON Developer, you will be responsible for delivering both development and support projects, following SDLC processes such as Agile and Waterfall. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize tools like JIRA, and demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize strong experience in AS400 and SYNON to develop and maintain applications.
• Implement and manage changes using SYNON programming and change management tools such as Implementer.
• Deliver both development and support projects, ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
• Follow SDLC processes such as Agile, Waterfall, or other methodologies as required.
• Collaborate with teams using tools like JIRA to track progress and manage project tasks.
• Utilize knowledge of IFS, FTP, and SFTP processes to support system integrations.
• Leverage retail domain knowledge to provide valuable insights and solutions (added advantage).
• Work as an individual contributor with limited assistance, while also being a strong team player.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and possess excellent aptitude and logical skills.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
