Job Description-

Continuously monitor and analyze the performance and status of various systems within the power plant, such as boilers, turbines, generators, and auxiliary equipment, using a variety of control systems and computer interfaces.

Operate and control the plant's distributed control systems (DCS) or supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems to adjust parameters like temperature, pressure, flow rates, and power output in real-time.

In some power plants, desk engineers are responsible for load dispatch and coordinating the plant's output with the grid operator to meet demand, maintain grid stability, and respond to changing load requirements.
