Working within Product Engineering, your mission will be to play an active role in identifying and testing key features of the product.

Apart from building automation test scripts, you should be able to develop well-planned and structured test plans/cases. You should also be able to mentor, guide and train other engineers.

You should be able to evaluate the product requirements, time limitations and system limitations when developing automation tests and be up to date on new technologies and software testing practices.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Plan and prioritize automation test activitiesPlan and execute automation and performance testingProduct functionality, robustness and scale testingPrepare automation scriptsCoordinate with the product owner and product development team to achieve optimum automationIdentify weaknesses and problem areas in the software applicationSuggest automated software test proceduresDevelop,maintain,execute,andtroubleshootautomationsoftwareissuesMonitoring assurance metrics and process resultsAssist directly and indirectly in the hiring process and development of technical talent

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS or equivalent experience4 to 6 years of professional automation testing experienceComplete understanding of automation systems and databasesBasic knowledge of scripting and other related proceduresExpertise in automation testing tools like Selenium and CucumberExperience with Cypress and REST AssureUnderstanding of testing protocolsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAutomation framework development experience
