    As part of the Regulatory Central Monitoring Function (Reg CMF) team, you will be responsible for leading a team responsible for monitoring various America's Regulations as well as tactical and strategic analysis and remediation of Regulatory accounts impacting clients eligible for specific America's Regulations. Duties and tasks involve regular interactions with various teams such as Compliance, Legal, operations and reporting. You'll support and contribute to daily monitoring and control reporting for various America's Regulations along with being part of a team that works in close partnership with various stakeholders such as Compliance, Legal and the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) on-boarding teams.

  • Your key responsibilities

  • Understanding of the end-to-end regulation requirements for America's Regulations.
  • Manage and help develop top talent within the RTB space.
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders across the bank - Anti Financial Crime (AFC), Compliance, Business, Onshore counterparts, and Technology.
  • Participate and represent the team on Audit, Risk and Control and Quality Assurance meetings.
  • Meeting process service delivery and ensure accomplishment of targets in adherence to SLAs.
  • Ensure all end of day activities are completed successfully including preparation of daily checklists and MIS required for management decision making.
  • Ensure adherence to standards, procedures and identify risk mitigants wherever there is a control issue.
  • Work with Client Onboarding (COB) team members when exceptions are identified to see through resolution.
  • Training of COB team members for any new regulatory changes.
  • Work closely with other internal teams to ensure top of the line service to clients.
  • Prioritize tasks and ensure adherence to timelines for completion of activities.
  • Work on change management initiatives within the team
  • Participate in cross process initiatives which are formulated to create or improve existing processes.
  • Must be able to multitask effectively.
  • Your skills and experience

  • Motivated self-starter with very strong organizational skills, attention to detail and solutions-oriented, positive "can do" attitude.
  • Ability to work in a non-structured environment, knowing what task the next priority is without being told.
  • Prior knowledge/exposure America's regulations within an operational or control department within a banking / financial environment, or within a similar operational regulatory function preferred.
  • Ability to think not only in black and white but also be able to think analytically in grey areas by utilizing resources at hand (i.e., Key Operating Procedures, reading through regulations etc.).
  • People management skills is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Control, Compliance, Investigation/chasing functions in banks.
  • Skills with interpreting regulatory guidelines and assessing risk scores and entity types.
