- Responsible for HVDC Software & Hardware Integrated testing and perform FPT (Functional Performance Test) & DPT (Dynamic Performance Test)
- Should be able read, understand and follow given test definitions & test descriptions.
- Execute test cases related to Grid/Station/Pole level control functions as per test descriptions for HVDC converter substation.
- Should be able understand the HMI, RTDS, basics of Power system, Power Electronics component, and its equipment's.
- Evaluate Test results against Test Acceptance Criteria
- Analyse SER (Signal Event recorder) and TFR (Transient fault record) Records
- Analyse test results screenshots, plots, reports, and support documents
- Prepare and submit Test reports in required format.
- Understand and follow given test definitions & test descriptions. Qualification, Skills & Experience:
- or BTech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 7+ years of experience in Design, Testing and Commissioning HVDC Transmission substation,
- ME or MTech in Powers system or Power electronics followed with or BTech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
- Good knowledge in Power system protection, Electrical equipment hardware and software engineering and testing.
- Experience in MATLAB Simulink
- Good knowledge and exposure inHVDC control and protection systems. FACTS (Version control & Issue tracking)IFM (Integrated framework management)MTM (Master Test Metrics)RTDS (Real time Simulator)
- Knowledge in requirements Management Polarian knowledge - Development (scripting) & Application
- Basic understanding in SIPROTEC product family, HMI tools, RTDS, IEC 61850 would be an added advantage.
- Should be able to interact with multiple internal, external stake holders and show FAT demo to customers.
- Good communications skill and fluent in English.
