    Overview :

    ZapCom is seeking a Software Engineering Manager.

    As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers to deliver high-powered, cutting-edge software applications.

    You will work collaboratively with Product Owners, vendors, and business stakeholders to architect and create enterprise-level solutions that are both scalable and robust.

    The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, have full-stack technical knowledge and the ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.

    Role : Engineering Manager / Sr Engineering Manager.

    Location : Bangalore / Hyderabad.

    Exp : 12+ Years.

    Responsibilities :

    - Manage projects, workflow, and development roadmap to keep the development team organized, efficient, and optimally running.

    - Provide vision, design and oversight, and creates and implements architectural strategy, align resources within cross-functional teams to build high-quality products and services.

    - Guide the team in best practice for agile development including estimating stories, grooming backlog, and breaking down epics.

    - Provide guidance on technical direction, perform technical analysis, and make recommendations.

    - Work with product owners and business stakeholders to define feature requirements and set priorities.

    - Mentor team individuals to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs and develop their careers.

    - Perform staff administration duties such as performance reviews, job descriptions, and help in the recruiting and hiring process.

    - Eliminate impediments to allow the development team to focus on their task.

    - Maintain confidentiality of personal information.

    - Interface with others in a professional manner and be a trusted go to person.

    - Coordinate feasibility and overall analysis of engineering projects.

    - Analyze and troubleshoot delivery issues in a timely fashion.

    - Weekly reports on the status of all project initiatives to the stake holders.

    - Ensure delivery of the project, on time, on budget and to the quality standards as expected by customers.

    - Hire best talent and coach them to grow in career path.

    - They must be responsible, knowledgeable, convincing and able to adapt to change.

    Required Skills /Experience :

    years of industry experience with strong Experience in "Program management" or "Project Management".

    - Demonstrated experience managing IT/API/web/mobile applications and platforms.

    - Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress.

    - Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    - Demonstrated key project management deliverables from planning > execution > control & monitor and closure [should be able to articulate approach/activities performed in each phase.

    - Strong people skills, with distinctive ability to motivate and influence people without authority or a direct reporting relationship.

    - Coach and support project team members with tasks assigned them.

    - Excellent organization of time and ability to prioritize to meet tight deadlines.

    - Strong verbal communication skills to speak to customers and delivery team members daily as well as good written communication skills to create detailed reports.

    - Wellorganized and good at managing multiple tasks.

    - Analytical skills and the ability to interpret information from numerous sources to prepare and present reports.
