Collaborate with stakeholders to understandbusiness requirements and design network architectures that meetthose needs
Develop network diagrams flowcharts andother visual aids to communicate network designs to stakeholdersand other IT professionals
Select and implementappropriate networking technologies such as routers switchesfirewalls and wireless access points 2.

Network Implementation:
Configure and test networkdevices such as routers switches and firewalls
Installand configure network operating systems such as Cisco IOS orJuniper Junos
Configure network protocols such as TCP/IPDNS and DHCP
Implement network security measures such asVPNs firewalls and intrusion detection systems3.

Network Maintenance:
Monitor networkperformance and identify areas for improvement
