- Implementation of EHS program for the plant based on Integrated Management Systems
- Achieving Environment, Health and safety KPI of the plant to achieve the goal of Target Zero.
- Compliance to all regulations related to the areas of Environment, health and safety.
- Monitoring of environment management systems of the plant
- Optimization of effluent treatment plant.
- Create EHS awareness amongst employees and contract employees
- Timely reporting of EHS incidents and track closure of action plan
- Ensure fire protection of the plant and have systems in place to limit human/property damage during any emergencies.
- Conduct timely THA and track completion of open points
- Conduct incident investigations and ensure action plan in place.
- Conduct regular safety committee meetings and track the MOM
- Monitor functioning of ETP and ensure PCB discharge parameters are met.
- Prepare a legal compliance register and timely government submissions.
- Monitor hazardous waste generation in the plant, try to minimize hazardous waste and ensure it is legally disposed
- Conduct regular SBV of the plant along with plant HOD and ensure non compliances are addressed immediately.
- Ensure regular maintenance of firefighting/protection/detection systems, conduct regular drills and update Onsite emergency plan
- Ensure adequate and timely medical aid for the personnel in tandem with HR dept.
- Address EHS issues in design by Management of change process.
- Ensure lead in EHSMS audits
- Ensure EHS trainings compliance
