Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President -PMO
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior PMO Resource to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should relevant experience in project management office roles, demonstrating strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills. As a Senior PMO Resource, you will play a crucial role in driving project excellence, ensuring adherence to best practices, and facilitating efficient project delivery.
Responsibilities:

.Stakeholder Communication:
oFacilitate effective communication among project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
oEnsure timely and transparent communication of project status, issues, and resolutions.
.Strategic Planning and Execution:
oCollaborate with senior leadership to align project portfolios with organizational objectives.
oDevelop and implement strategic project plans, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
oMonitor and report on project progress against strategic objectives.
.Portfolio Management:
oOversee the entire project portfolio, ensuring projects are aligned with organizational priorities.
oConduct regular portfolio reviews to optimize resource allocation and project success.
.Governance and Compliance:
oEstablish and enforce project management standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks.
oEnsure projects adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
.Resource Management:
oManage project resource allocation, including personnel, budget, and equipment.
oCollaborate with department managers to ensure adequate resource availability.
.Risk Management:
oIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive risk management practices.
oDevelop and implement risk mitigation plans to safeguard project success.
.Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
oImplement robust project performance monitoring mechanisms.
oGenerate regular reports for senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and project metrics.
.Continuous Improvement:
oIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
oConduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and apply insights to future projects.
.Training and Development:
oProvide mentorship and guidance to junior PMO staff.
oDevelop and deliver training programs to enhance project management skills across the organization.
.Technology Utilization:
oLeverage project management tools and technology to enhance efficiency and collaboration.
oStay abreast of industry trends and incorporate relevant technologies into project management practices.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
oProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
oRelevant years of experience in progressively responsible PMO roles.
oStrong leadership and interpersonal skills.
oExcellent communication and presentation abilities.
oProficient in project management software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
.High energy, results driven person with strong interpersonal skills.
.Able to work under minimal supervision and ability to build & mentor a team.
.Experience in the IT industry would be an advantage.
.Experience in a supervisory position may be advantageous
