    Overview:

    The IT AssetCoordinator plays a crucial role in managing the organizations ITassets ensuring that all hardware and software components aretracked maintained and optimized. They are responsible foroverseeing the entire lifecycle of IT assets from procurement todisposal and play a key role in optimizing IT asset utilization andcontrolling costs.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Track and maintainan inventory of all IT assets including hardware software andlicenses.
    • Develop and implement assetmanagement policies and procedures.
    • Ensurecompliance with software licensing agreements and maintain accuratelicense records.
    • Coordinate the procurement anddisposal of IT assets in accordance with organizationalpolicies.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure theaccuracy and completeness of the IT assetinventory.
    • Provide technical expertise andsupport for IT asset management tools andsystems.
    • Optimize asset utilization to minimizewaste and reduce costs.
    • Collaborate withvarious teams to forecast IT asset needs and plan for futureacquisitions.
    • Monitor and report on assetperformance usage and compliancemetrics.
    • Handle asset tracking anddocumentation for audit and compliancepurposes.
    • Identify opportunities for processimprovements and automation in assetmanagement.
    • Train and educate staff on assetmanagement policies and bestpractices.

    RequiredQualifications:

    • Bachelors degree inInformation Technology Computer Science or relatedfield.
    • Previous experience in IT assetmanagement or a related field.
    • Demonstratedunderstanding of IT asset lifecycle management and related bestpractices.
    • Strong knowledge of IT hardwaresoftware and licensing agreements.
    • Proficiencyin asset management tools andsystems.
    • Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills.
    • Ability to prioritizeand manage multiple tasks in a dynamicenvironment.
    • Exceptional attention to detailand accuracy.
    • Strong communication andinterpersonal skills.
    • Relevant certificationsin IT asset management or relateddomains.
    • Understanding of regulatory andcompliance requirements related to IT assetmanagement.
    • Ability to work effectively in ateam and collaborate with crossfunctionalstakeholders.
    • Experience with processimprovement and automation initiatives.
    • Highlevel of organization and documentationskills.
    • Ability to adapt to evolvingtechnologies and industry trends.
