    Senior Accountant Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant with a robust understanding of accounting principles and practices.

    • Lead financial work streams, including accounting, payroll, and taxation.
    • Expertise in Tally and Excel, including Pivot Tables, Charts, VLOOKUP, etc.
    • GST knowledge for return filing, including Annual Returns, GST Audit handling, and GST Refund applications.
    • PF calculation, PF return filing, and employee PF queries handling.
    • End-to-end Payroll process execution, including payroll preparation, accounting, and filing TDS returns.
    • Handling sensitive documentation, including agreements, invoices, and vouchers.
    • Compliance documentation, including Board Resolutions, Minutes of Meetings register, etc.
    • Raising sales invoices, generating timely and accurate sales invoices, and handling day-to-day payroll and reimbursement-related queries.
    • Prepare comprehensive MIS reports, including project accounting, project profitability, and presentation to management.
    • Vendor negotiations: Participate in securing favourable terms and cost-effective solutions by implementing cost control measures.
    • Income tax knowledge for Company's Return Filing, Advance Tax Planning, and Tax savings.

    Background and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional accounting certification (e.g., CA, CPA) is preferred.
    • Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience.
    • Advanced proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Charts, VLOOKUP, etc.
    • Strong understanding of GST laws and return filing procedures, and Knowledge of PF regulations and return filing processes.
    • Experience in managing end-to-end payroll processes and TDS compliance.
    • Ability to perform complex reconciliations and handle sensitive financial documentation.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
