About the Role
● As a valued member of our Frontend Development Team, the role of Web Developer is pivotal in crafting dynamic user interfaces using cutting-edge technologies.
● Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement user interface components utilizing , alongside key concepts and workflows such as Redux and Webpack.
● A core aspect of your role will involve profiling and enhancing frontend performance, ensuring that our applications deliver an exceptional user experience. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in documenting our frontend codebase, facilitating collaboration and maintaining code quality.
● You'll be immersed in the full software development lifecycle, from initial design through to coding, reviewing, testing, and documentation. Working with a diverse range of frontend technologies, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, continuously pushing boundaries to deliver best-in-class solutions.
● While primarily focused on frontend development, you'll have opportunities to collaborate closely with backend teams, potentially taking on backend tasks. Furthermore, you'll actively contribute to our cross-team frontend chapter, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
● One of the key initiatives you'll be involved in is the development of a sophisticated platform for managing and optimizing workflows organization-wide. This project will require you to architect reusable UI components and modules, catering to a variety of use cases and business requirements.
● Your involvement in various initiatives will also include establishing robust design patterns, component libraries, and development workflows, ensuring the reusability and maintainability of our frontend assets. Required Skills and Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
● 3+ years of robust frontend development experience with expertise in the frontend technologies.
● Develop and implement frontend components using , and documentation tools, with experience using Storybook to create and showcase reusable UI components.
● Enhance frontend performance and optimize website speed.
● Implement Redux for state management.
● Proficiency in TypeScript: Superset of JavaScript offering static typing and enhanced code maintainability, becoming increasingly popular.
● CSS Frameworks: Mastering modern frameworks like Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap 5, or Material-UI streamlines styling and responsiveness.
● Module Bundlers: Webpack and Vite are dominant, requiring an understanding of code splitting and optimization techniques.
● Testing and Debugging: Unit testing frameworks like Jest and end-to-end testing tools like Cypress or Playwright are crucial for quality assurance.
● Performance Optimization: Optimizing website speed through techniques like code minification, lazy loading, and effective caching is essential.
● Familiarity with deployment pipelines, including tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines, for automating the deployment process.
● Strong understanding of debug capability, AODA compliance, local storage, data store management, encryption, and security principles.
