    Description

    Job Title: Data Engineer / ETL Developer

    Job Description:

    We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer / Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL, Pyspark/Databricks

    Responsibilities:

    Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Matillion, Snowflake, Or Informatica.

    Independently he/she should be able to create ETL design, implement, deliver complex ETL code for simple to complex Data Integration/ Data Warehousing project assignments.

    Translate business requirements into ETL designs and mapping specifications.

    Understand and interpret data interactions and dependencies in complex data models.

    Collaborate with data architects, modelers, and IT team members on project goals.

    Perform testing and validation of ETL processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.

    Troubleshoot and resolve ETL process failures, performance issues, and data quality issues.

    Provide technical assistance and cross-training to other team members.

    Document ETL processes, procedures, and activities for future reference.

    Qualifications:

    • degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • experience as an ETL Developer / Data Engineer
    • knowledge of SQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Matillion, Snowflake, and Informatica.
    • problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
