Description
In this role the person will be the responsible for ensuring success of business critical application operations by supporting the day to day BAU Activities, analyzing and fixing the issues on priority while adhering to standards and SLA's. The person should be able to support High priority(P1/P2) incidents dynamically by providing timely resolution for the problem and handle other service requests. handle application outages(planned/unplanned) and responsible for performance and maintenance of the highly critical business application. For this role we are looking for a highly motivated Individual who will be working as Sr. operations analysts.The person should exhibit leadership qualities and demonstrate business acumen while working closely with business users to understand requirements and help team translate it into technical changes.
Key Responsibilities
Gauge the severity, urgency and criticality of production issues and address them as quickly as possible, Provide Server support and troubleshooting while working .
Assess & recommend solutions for permanent fixes to improve Infra stability and resiliency
Demonstrate analytical capability to perform ticket analysis and resolution & root cause analysis
Take care of minor enhancements to the Infrastructure and following Change Management processes
Collaborate with Global team and overseas team members to ensure smooth execution of the application operations
Required Qualifications
Bachelors/Master degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent.
Person should have above qualifications and 4 -7 years of experience in relevant disciplines including:
At least 4-6 years of strong experience in infrastructure platform, Windows/Linux support
Hands on experience in Windows troubleshooting, Patching.
Hands-on experience on Monitoring Services/ Tools
Working knowledge SCCM, SCOM, Servicenow, Certificate authority.
At least 4-6 years of experience in Managing File Share Services DFS etc.
At least 4-6 years of experience in Managing, Configuring Windows Roles and features.
At least 4-6 years of experience Patching Tools like WSUS, SCCM, SSM etc.
Knowledge of ITIL practices
Exceptional problem solving skills with strong analytical skills.
Good to have knowledge on PowerShell scripting
Candidates who have used following tools (or have familiarity with below):
Service Now
PowerShell
Ansible
Vmware
Familiarity with JIRA, BitBucket is a plus
Familiarity with monitoring tools SCOM/SumoLogic/Dynatrace
Knowledge about Cloud Technology and exposure to AWS/Azure etc.
