- Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights
- Develop and deploy predictive models and algorithms to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and identify opportunities for data-driven solutions.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities for optimization.
- Keep abreast of advancements in data science, AI, and industry-specific tools to enhance analytical capabilities.
- 2 - 5 years of experience in handling data science projects. Only relevant and hands-on experience will be considered.
- Experience in E-commerce or Retail is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, forecasting/predictive analytics, multivariate testing, and optimization algorithms.
- Passion for data with strong analytical mindset and focus on drilling data for commercial insight
- Expert level knowledge in Python: Ability to work efficiently at scale with large data sets
- Intermediate or Expert at using SQL for querying and manipulating data. Experience with any large cloud database and familiarity with distributed computing e.g. leverage Spark for large jobs.
- Understanding of Data Lake systems, preferably Databricks
- Hands-on Orchestration Tools like Apache Airflow.
- Understanding of Software Engineering best practices.
- Proficiency in code management / version control tools such as GIT, DevOps
- Experience working in cloud computing AWS services (S3, Redshift, Aurora, Sagemaker) or GCP.
- Experience in deploying machine-learned models in production environments.
- Experience with Neural Networks / Deep Learning a plus.
