    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate - Indirect Tax to join our Global - Indirect Tax Team based in Gurugram, Haryana.

    The successful candidate will report directly to the Head - Indirect Tax (Global Operations) and play a key role in managing a diverse range of tasks related to GST/VAT technical compliance and advisory work.

    The primary focus will be on indirect tax & customs affairs across Europe, Philippines, Singapore, UAE, Kenya, Bangladesh and India.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • To manage operational indirect taxation compliance for Europe, Philippines, Singapore, UAE, Kenya, Bangladesh and India. Collaborate with internal teams to address day-to-day VAT/GST queries and miscellaneous VAT/GST matters.
    • Maintenance of indirect tax MIS (Statutory Compliance MIS, Litigation Tracker, Indirect Tax Refund Tracker etc.)
    • Preparation of monthly/quarterly VAT/GST returns. The candidate will assist the Senior Associate – Finance in managing these activities.
    • Supporting Associate Vice President - Indirect Tax (Global Operations) to enhance the control environment.
    • Close collaboration with members of the corporate finance team/operations team.
    • Supporting indirect tax training roll out for corporate staff.
    • Participation in project work at the corporate level as new processes and procedures are introduced in the business from an indirect tax perspective.
    • Monitoring indirect tax developments or changes in legislation.
    • Providing global indirect tax & Customs advisory support.
    • Liaising with Corporate Finance to achieve business targets.
    • India GST Return filling GSTR-1, GSTR3B
    • Maintenance of statutory registers for GST and custom.
    • Preparation of various reports in GST, Export and Import.
    • GST ITC reconciliation and communication with respective supplier to resolve the ITC mismatch.
    • Documentation of export cargo and import cargo.

    Required Candidate Profile:

    A minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant experience is required.

    Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential.

    SAP knowledge is mandatory.
