Our prestigious client a nearly 100 yearold US MNC a world leader in manufacturing of heavy constructionand mining machineries is hiring in their Costing function at Assc.accountant level.

Idealcandidates will have experience in manufacturing domain in costingsystems product costing and analysis standard costingetc.

EXP:

Requires a certified accountant (CA/CMA) withcollege degree in accounting and 12 years of experience inaccounting preferably in a manufacturing environment.

OR Part QualifiedCA/CMA with relevant experience of 2 to 3 years MBA orPostgraduate.
Fromthe outset incumbent will be expected to be a contributingperformer doing staff level accounting work that supports businessprocesses


Additionally this position will:
Gain an understanding of Caterpillar s business and accountingpractices systems and procedures.

Learn anddevelop skills which result from the practical application of basicaccounting knowledge and Aid a project team or others in the workgroup.

Possible areas of responsibility are varied including: Cost systemmaintenance Normals & machine ratedevelopment Abnormals identification& reporting Prime product and/orcomponent cost monitoring & analysis Operations and/or product group budgetingand expense analysis Capital expenditureforecasting and reporting Standard andcurrent cost grief resolution Supportmanagement with analysis for decision making in various projectsand cost reduction programs

PreferredAdditional skills: Goodaccounting background thorough knowledge of accounting flow andrelated methods of recording in the General Ledger and knowledge inSAP environment (FI MM & CO Module) Effective communications skills and a good understanding ofcomputer systems especially in MSOffice and Financial AnalyticsTool (Power BI Tableau Power ).
