    Description

    JD – Payroll Executive

    Role objective

    The Payroll Executive will be required to assist the Payroll Head in monthly payroll processing through Ascent payroll software.

    Key Activities

    ·Processing monthly payroll with accuracy and timeliness.

    ·Collating payroll inputs like attendance, new joiners, shift allowance, bonus, incentive, salary changes, deductions, etc. by coordinating with various stakeholders for processing payroll.

    ·Corresponding with employees at various levels and addressing their queries pertaining to attendance and payroll.

    ·Sending communication to the organization pertaining to process and timelines for applying Outdoor Duty, applying CTC reimbursement, Shift Allowance, Salary Credit, Form 16, etc.

    ·Working closely with Finance, C&B, Compliance & Joining teams in order to ensure timely payout, accuracy of payroll inputs and timely and accuracy in compliances pertaining to PF, ESI, Income Tax, Professional Tax, etc.

    ·Coordinating with Global Payroll / Internal HR SPOCs for global mobility payroll inputs.

    ·Processing CTC reimbursements based on claims received from employees through the system.

    ·Generating and rolling out Form 16 (TDS Certificate) at the Financial Year end with accuracy and timeliness.

    ·Generating Payroll reports and dashboards as required by the Management on a periodical basis.

    ·Coordinating with the Separations team for inputs required to process Full & Final settlement of separated employees.

    ·Coordinating with HR Business Partner team and helping team with inputs as required from time to time for addressing employee's queries.

    ·Any other activity as assigned from time to time.

    Requisite Qualifications & Experience

    ·MBA (Finance / HR) / CA/CWA (Inter)

    ·5 years of experience in handling Payroll, HR Compliances (PF, Professional Tax), Income Tax, etc.

    Requisite Skillsets & Competencies

    ·Should be analytical and logical in approach with an eye for details.

    ·Quick learner and good in understanding and applying policies & processes

    ·Perseverant and thorough in doing follow-ups, coordination and a go-getter

    ·Proficiency in Excel.

    ·Working knowledge of SAP & any payroll software.

    ·Basic knowledge of HR compliances and Income Tax
