Expectations:

The Director of Manufacturing Operations willbe assigned responsibilities for various operational anddevelopmental aspects of the companys continued development andgrowth. Key capabilities will include the implementation andexecution of organization and management protocols to ensureefficient and effective utilization of resources. This work willinclude the development and implementation of methods that focus onthe needs of the company as it undergoes rapid growth in productsales and manufacturing processes.

Although the company is highly focused on growth andprofitability there is a clear historical commitment to health ofthe organization and of the business which requires both strong andagile organizational and leadership skills and a robust commitmentto success.

In order toqualify for this challenging position the candidate must possess aBS degree (MS preferred) in Engineering and 10 or more years ofsuccessful business operations manufacturing manufacturingimprovement knowledge and product line extension manufacturingexperience.

The drive to beout in front and to continuously be on the move are essential aswell as the capabilities to sustain high levels of effort toachieve the demands required by an ambitious business portfolio areessential elements for success.

EssentialFunctions:

TheOperations Director position will maintain production schedules tocriteria established by management and clients needs. The managedactivities will include allocation of manloading working withinbudget constraints and being able to sustain order and cohesivenessas workload changes to accommodate the introduction of new projectsinto the manufacturing schedule. Exceptionally strongmultiprogram/project management skills are essential.

Thesuccessful candidate must have:

• A trackrecord that demonstratessuccess of working in hightechnology product manufacturingfields.
• Demonstrated history as a productiveinnovative technical manager with success in a hightech industrialequipment manufacturing environment.
• Successful implementation of Enterprise Resource Planningsoftware.
• Demonstrated ability to listen tocustomers needs develop solutions to meet their requirements trustand respect.
• Ability to combine extensiveknowledge of emerging technologies with broad organizational focusassimilate knowledge of company technology products applicationsand manufacturing capabilities and to lead manufacturing in theseareas.
• Capability to quickly grasp newtechnological concepts and implement operational mechanisms toefficiently fold them into the company structure.
• Talent to serve as liaison between research teamengineering team manufacturing team and vendors that results inquality manufactured products.
• Knowledge andexperience in sound operational process development supply chainmanagement warehouse management and quality control.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall manufacturingstrategy planning operations procurement and ERPmanagement.
• Develop and incorporate solidoperational safety regulatory compliance quality assurance costcontrol and programs into all manufacturing processes.
• Adopt process designs technologies and methods thatmaximize operational efficiency.
• Plans andforecasts resources for facilities equipment materials technologyand workforce to ensure sufficient manufacturing capacity tosupport business goals.
• Promote organizationculture to meet the goals.
• Design implementand maintain an effective efficient organizational structure tosuccessfully support current and future businessstrategies.
• Lead change management activitiesbe a key contributor to business thinking foster effectiverelationships with other internal/external functional groups andprovide strong leadership to the teams by encouraging diversity ofthought.
• Promote and focus on employeedevelopment and performance and ensuring teams continually acquirenew technology and management skills.
• Manageand improve strong crosstraining program.

MinimumQualifications:

• Bachelors of Science in Engineering (ABET Accredited)Masters of Science Engineering

(Preferred)

• Ten years ofmanufacturing and warehouse supervisory/managementexperience.
• Strong computer skills includingMRP ERP inventory and warehouse management MS OfficePowerPoint
• U.S. Citizen.
