JobDescription:

As a Data AnalystIntern at Datahut you will be at the intersection of data andmarketing. Your primary responsibilities will involve scraping datafrom various sources cleaning and organising this data and thenvisualising it in a manner that is both insightful and actionable.You will work closely with our data science and marketing team tosupport ongoing projects andinitiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Developand implement web scrapers to gather information from specifiedsources using Python and libraries such as BeautifulSoup(BS4).
• Clean and preprocessraw data to ensure its quality and readiness foranalysis.
• Analyze cleaneddata to identify patterns trends andinsights.
• Create compellingvisualisations of the data using Python libraries such asMatplotlib Seaborn or similartools.
• Collaborate with teammembers to support data analysis and projectobjectives.
• Document allprocesses and methodologies used in data scraping cleaning andvisualisation.

Qualifications:

• Currentlypursuing or completed courses in Computer Science Data ScienceStatistics or a relatedfield.
• Proficient in Pythonwith handson experience using libraries like BeautifulSoup PandasNumPy and Matplotlib/Seaborn for data scraping processing andvisualisation.
• Familiaritywith web technologies (HTML CSS) and an understanding of thestructure of webpages.
• Strong analyticalskills with the ability to collect organise analyse and disseminatesignificant amounts of information with attention to detail andaccuracy.
• Excellentproblemsolving skills and creativity in finding solutions todatarelated issues.
• Abilityto work independently as well as part of ateam.
• Effectivecommunication skills with the ability to present data insights tonontechnical teammembers.
