    Description
    Job Description


    • Manage, mentor and review work performed by Accountant
    • Responsible for the monthly reporting timetable for the local team
    • Review of month end P&L and Balance Sheet reports at a trial balance level and ensure reconciliations maintained and variances explained
    • Review and support local Financial statutory statements preparation for all assigned companies
    • Review and support local tax reporting for all taxes (e.g. Corporation, VAT, Payroll)
    • Approve invoices in post batch for all assigned companies. (final check in invoice processing before payment)
    • Responsible for managing relationship and reporting with external auditors, external tax advisers and regulators
    • Seek process improvements to increase efficiency and maintain accuracy
    • Review team guidelines to ensure always kept up to date and factor in any changes in process
    • Review accuracy of liquidity requests for all non-supplier payments
    • Payment approval for assigned companies
    • Support with Group related projects and Internal Control follow ups
    • Support with month end accounting processes
    • Review processes on a quarterly basis with other finance and non-finance teams to identify any potential improvements in process which would achieve improvements in accuracy, compliance and efficiency
    • Provide ad hoc reports as required to the business which provide and clear and concise insight
    Qualifications


    • 5+ years financial accounting experience
    • Qualified Accountant (CA) / or equivalent with experience of statutory accounts preparation
    • Management experience
    • Fluent in English (verbal and written) and any other language required to manage the Service Company's needs
    • Ability to provide a first-class service to all stakeholders
    • Understands and drives values in their role
    • Strong desire and ability to develop, learn new skills and take on further responsibility
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (Local GAAP, IFRS)
    • Experience of optimising processes performed by the team
    • Experience of working within in a busy environment with the ability to be flexible and adapt to change in processes and systems
    • Excellent business partnering and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders
    • Experience Finance software packages. (Currently uses Access Dimensions, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights)
    • Ability to meet strict deadlines maintaining a high standard of performance.
    • Advanced Excel skills
