Position: Senior Manager, Design Engineering

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or related fields. Diploma in Design or Product Design is a plus.

Qualifications:

1. Expertise in Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Product Design.

2. Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), 3D modeling, particularly in NX.

3. Familiarity with Forging Process, Die designing, and Die Programming.

4. Comprehensive understanding of Machining Process and experience in Machining Fixture Designing.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

6. Ability to calculate costs based on work breakdown process.

7. Knowledge of PPAP, DFMEA, PFD process, and QC tools.

8. Well-versed with various cutting tools and machines used in the industry.

9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

10. Openness to work on various projects in similar industries including sheet metal, casting, heavy fabrication, etc.

11. Proficiency in timely response, quote submission, customer discussions, handling audits, and participation in commercial discussions.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in Forging and Machining Industry.

Industry: Automotive Ancillary Industry

Facilities: Conveyance and canteen facilities are not provided. Candidates must reside within a 10km radius of the plant.

Working Hours: 10 + hours per day, overseeing management of both shifts. Responsible for planning maintenance activities during holidays and attending urgencies in the plant at all hours.

Current Staff: Supervision of a team of 3 maintenance personnel.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Starting from Rs. 60,000 per month. CTC includes components such as Provident Fund, Leaves, Bonus, etc.
