Purposeof the position:
Supporting the virtualproduct validation by conducting CAE analysis for eDrive componentsandsystems (gearbox eMotor inverter).Product optimization by proposing designimprovementsbased on analysisoutcomes.
Maintasks:
Conducting mechanical CAE analysis:mainly static strength and fatigue analysisusingFiniteElementMethod but also boltanalysis and thermal FEA if requiredIdentification of boundary conditions FE model building and resultinterpretation Writing analysis reports andpresentation of results to the developmentteam Following and improving establishedWays of Working for simulation Activelyproposing design improvements based on analysisoutcomes Supporting product development teamin design decisions Independent planning andorganization of own taks using resourcemanagementsystem
RequirementsEducation& Experience:
Completed studies inmechanical engineering structural engineering vehicleengineeringmechatronics or comparabledegree. > 2 years experience in CAEanalysis (FEA) preferably for powertraincomponents.
Technicalskills:
Capability to work independently onstatic and fatigue CAE tasks from identificationofboundary conditions to analysing thesimulation results Understanding of eDrivepowertrain systems: function loads force flow boundaryconditions
andtypical failure modes Ideally:
experience inbolt analysis acc.
to VDI 2230 thermal analysis or gearanalysisSoftskills:
Communication skills:
